We fast again, this time in Argentina

The last 2 weeks were quite active for us. First, after staying in Mendoza (Argentina) for 1 week, we came back shortly to the capital of Chile – Santiago. This time crossing the border in the Andes mountains was a little bit complicated. Once we drove up to the top, it started to snow very heavily. The roads covered with thick layer of snow and driving further became dangerous. Here they solve such problems by wrapping wheels with the chains. Without them police did not allow to pass anybody.

In Santiago we picked up a package with herbal tea sent to us by our Russian friend Mike from USA. This letter traveled 3.5 weeks from USA to Chile. Too long, we think. But we found the reason – on the letter there was a sticker of customs of Switzerland. Very impressing deviation…

Last weekend we got back to Argentina and since Monday we are staying in the small and cozy town San Rafael (200 km South of Mendoza). Here for 1 month we rented a small apartment ($200/€140/month). Our main goal in San Rafael – to go for 30-days fasting (last year 2 times for 3 weeks). Today is our DAY 2!
