The very first days in Australia we stayed in Perth city center. Before coming to this country I have researched for raw food communities in the area. We thought it would be great to meat local raw food lovers. As always, the synchronicity in life works with the perfect timing: there was scheduled a raw food potluck in the Kings Park on Sunday – our second day in Australia. We prepared a salad with honey and joined the meeting.
During this potluck organizers also made a mystery box challange-competition for randomly selected teams – each of 3 couples got a box with the some fruits, berries and vegetables:
The challange – create a raw food dish using all or some of these items. I was in one of the teams and we prepared a hedgehog mango with hand-crushed berries:
Another team presented as they called “dish with a signature” (onion sprouts as a base):
The last one – probably most creative – a sailboat and the logs of wood on the grassy shore:
