We are in the rich coast, in Costa Rica, as the locals call it 🙂 This country really has a lot of green nature. A lot of opportunities for camping. Unfortunately, we cannot praise this place for its friendliness to hitch-hikers. Until now we had a “nobody-stops” experience only. Well, it is not so bad. They do stop, but we had to wait for 3-4 hours all the time. Hopefully the north of the country will be more friendly.

Since Friday evening we are visiting Earth Rose Farm ( www.EarthRoseFarm.org ), which was founded a year ago by Maji and Rose. Their idea is to create a permacultural community. Here everybody is welcome to contribute.

Since the first day in the mornings we help Rose nursing a cow. It is something very new for us 🙂

During the full moon, on 1-2 of April, we will all together celebrate a 1-year birthday of the farm. After that, we will continue travelling towards the north of Costa Rica. In the next month or so we plan (we plan! 🙂 briefly visit Nicaragua, El Salvador and Honduras. After that, we will have to dig our way to South America.

Greetings from the farm,
Augustas & Katja
