Ayesha holds a degree in Contemporary Arts, and works currently as a youth rehabilitation officer in Fremantle. She integrates the arts into her work, helping young people to express their inner self and discover themselves anew in creative ways.

Having grown up in Bridgetown on a farm surrounded by nature reconnecting with mother earth is essential to her. In her house she maintains a little backyard garden, a beautiful oasis in the middle of town, where birds love to gather and chatter. Environmental consciousness is important to Ayesha in all areas of her life. When moving around town she prefers the bike, even for attending her night shifts.

Ayesha spontaneous way of reacting to circumstances make her swirl in and out of the house like a whirlwind. She is full of energy, and calm at the same time, keeping art as a key to express issues of concern to her to the outside world. She loves creating, steadily searching new ways to enhance her knowledge of arts through attending lectures. Besides all of her doing she keeps an eye on her most important philosophy - simply be.

How we met Ayesha Lapinski

In some unexplainable way we ended up on her profile in CouchSurfing.org, read it, and fell immediately in love with her and the place she described she lives in. We got in touch, and with a universal blessing and a big smile were welcomed in her wonderful house in Fremantle ;)
