I only have 4 weeks to travel after being in the Amazon in Ecuador for 10 weeks for an internship, then, after the internship I have 4 weeks free, my friend and I were going to try to connect with some friends in Iquitos but are students traveling on a strict budget and so we thought going by boat would be the cheapest way. But if 4 weeks is not enough then it might not be worth it to go. Any advice is appreciated. How long did it take you to get to Iquitos and back? Best is to arrive Pantoja and get latest estimated boat arrival dates from local people.
